The Upper Cumberland Railroad Society (UCRS) is our Educational and Historical Entity. The Society is responsible for the Historical and Museum Displays at the mall suite and the Education of the public in all aspects of local, Tennessee and surrounding railroads, both past and present. UCRS also conducts classes for the Railroading Merit Badge in cooperation with the Boy Scouts of America. (See sidebar at right.)

UCRS holds classes every year on Model Railroading. The classes are part of our How To Develop and Build A Model Railroad Educational Series. All classes are in the Education room located at the rear of our displays. Class attendees must be pre-registered and there are a maximum of 12 available seats for each class. You may pre-register at the front desk at our display during operation hours, or by Email to either of the Officers at right. Classes are subject to cancellation, postponement or rescheduling due to adverse weather, low pre-registrations or other unforeseeable instances. We will try to post any changes as soon as we can.

Our Advanced "How To Build A Model Railroad Series"
